Springfield Holiday Wrestling Tournament

Now that we’ve had a chance to catch our breath from the myriad of basketball tournaments, let’s turn our attention to the Springfield Holiday Wrestling Tournament hosted by Parkview.  If the only wrestling you’ve ever watched involved Vince McMahon somehow, you need to get out and see some of the best athletes the state has to offer.

24 teams will be competing.  Local teams Parkview, Kickapoo, Willard, Lebanon, Rolla, Republic, McDonald County, Marshfield, and defending state team champions Monett will all be participating along with other great teams from across the state and surrounding states.  Defending state individual champions Aaron Morgan of Waynesville, Chris McMullin of Willard, and Ethan Davis, Kyle Meyer, & Kellen Bounous of Monett will be there.  As well as Monett’s Michael Merritt, Lebanon’s Justin Britt, and Blayne Shockley of Rolla.

The action takes place over the next 2 days at Parkview High School so do yourself a favor and acquaint yourself with one of the most entertaining exciting sports you will see.  You will not be sorry.
